First Round attracts 50 bids

Bidding in the first round of Audio Content Fund funding closed on 29th April, having attracted 50 bids.

The bids were from 25 different production companies, and covered 28 commercial radio stations and 10 community radio stations or partnerships.

Genres covered include Childrens, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Sport.

Eligible bids will be assessed by the independent funding panel in late May, with decisions announced in early June.
