Tigeropolis

A comedy adventure series for 8-10s, plus related educational features.

10x 8min English dramas, 10x8min Gaelic dramas, plus 5x 5min eco-features, by Belle Media, first aired 14th January 2022

A family of vegetarian tigers set out to save the planet.

Finding humans don’t always make the best decisions, our tigers are forced to work together to save their home – Tigeropolis – a vast forest set in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Light-hearted, with a strong conservation message, helping children appreciate their world, the challenges it faces and the value of teamwork in resolving issues.

The Jungle Book meets Madagascar, meets The Flintstones! The series celebrates Chinese Year of the Tiger 2022 and builds on COP26 conservation themes.

There is also an associated  series of educational eco-features linked to the comedy dramas highlighting the real-life conservation themes of the stories and looking at rewilding, climate change, plastic pollution, water and tiger conservation. School children from around the UK ask questions of the experts including Megan McCubbin, Doug Allan, Gillian Burke and Jo Ruxton.
